Blog Makeover

Inspired by Sue Vincent’s recent post prompting us to do our ‘housekeeping’ tasks to keep our blogs as highly visible as possible, I decided it might be a good idea to give my online home a total overhaul.

De-cluttering is one of my favourite hobbies, and if I ever feel my energy levels begin to dip I’ll whip out a bin bag and start sorting my crap lovingly collected memorabilia into three boxes – keep, bin, charity.

So why not do the same for my blog? I started writing my motivational blog in January 2013 over on the Blogger platform – you can take a look at it HERE. In 2015, I decided that writing young adult novels, non-fiction self-help books, a motivational blog, and three newsletters wasn’t enough (!!) so I started a WordPress blog as a place to share my love of books, writing and anything else I thought would make for an entertaining read.

I love my WordPress blog, and I love the community of bloggers I’ve met via this platform. I don’t like technology, so I knew that switching my blog Theme was going to take its toll on my sanity. However, the big switch took all of five minutes, and I was happy to see that my content made it across smoothly.
