#FridayBookShare A Court of Mist and Fury by @SJMaas #YA #Fantasy

07 _ 10 _ 2014 (2)

With the weekend approaching it’s the perfect time to seek out new books, so I’ve created a Friday Book Share game to help search for that ideal read.

Anyone can have a go – all you need to do is answer the following questions based on a book you are currently reading/finished reading this week and use the hashtag #FridayBookShare

First line of the book.

Recruit fans by adding the book blurb.

Introduce the main character using only three words.

Delightful design (add the cover image of the book).

Audience appeal (who would enjoy reading this book?)

Your favourite line/scene.

Here’s mine:

I’ve finally managed to start reading A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J.Maas. It’s been calling to me from my must-read pile for ages!

First line – Maybe I’d always been broken and dark inside.

Recruit fans by adding the book blurb

After rescuing her lover Tamlin from a wicked Faerie Queen, she returns to the Spring Court possessing the powers of the High Fae. But Feyre cannot forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people – nor the bargain she made with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.

As Feyre is drawn ever deeper into Rhysand’s dark web of politics and passion, war is looming and an evil far greater than any queen threatens to destroy everything Feyre has fought for. She must confront her past, embrace her gifts and decide her fate.

Introduce the main characterFeyre is passionate, loyal, and brave.

Delightful Design

Audience appeal Perfect for fans of YA fantasy.

Your favourite line/scene

“Oh, we can’t let her sit next to him. They’d rip each other to shreds, and then we’d have blood ruining the table linens.”

I love how faerie weddings are just as difficult to organise as a human one!

If you want to join in then answer the F.R.I.D.A.Y questions and use the Friday Favourite meme. Tag me in so I can read what you have added too. Enjoy x

  1. Nice one Shelley… It seems like a good reading… I love the prompts… Mainly the idea of introducing the main character using only three words… And the first line is intriguing too 😉 I wonder which is the last one!…. Happy weekend ahead! Aquileana
