Here’s mine:

With Halloween fast approaching, it’s the perfect time to be reading horror, crime, or mythology. I’m sharing a favourite of mine today, Drive by Mark West. It might be a crime novella but it’s hauntingly terrifying!

First line – David Moore finally managed to get away from the drunk in the lounge and weaved his way through the other party-goers to the hall.

Recruit fans by adding the book blurb

David Moore has one night left in Gaffney and is at a party he doesn’t want to attend. Natasha Turner, at the same party, is lost for a lift home.

Meanwhile, three young men have stolen a car, and as the night darkens and the roads become deserted, David and Nat enter into a terrifying game of cat-and-mouse. . .

Introduce the main characterDavid is sensible, brave, and chivalrous.

Delightful Design

Audience appeal Perfect choice for fans of psychological thrillers, crime, and horror.

Your favourite line/scene

Nat felt the fight drain out of her. She knew she had to stay strong, had to keep fighting, but she didn’t have the energy, even though the alternative was too awful to think of.

‘Why are you doing this, what have I ever done to you?’
