My review:

I’m fortunate to connect with author Maddy on social media and am a member of her Invisible to Influential membership. When I saw she had released a children’s book to help kids understand finance, I thought I’d read and review it.

This is the kind of resource I wish my parents had when I was little and something I would have happily shared with my own kids.

It’s bright and cheerful, with a host of memorable characters. Not only is it a storybook with a core theme and lots of valuable lessons, but it’s also interactive. At the start of the book is a Magic Money Map and game to entertain readers as they read through the story.

The text is big and bold, and the illustrations are fun and colourful. It introduces children to working, banks, spending and saving, interest, mortgages and taxes, debt, and fundraising. Every aspect of money is covered in an easy-to-follow and understand story.

If you’re thinking of giving your younger kids or grandchildren money this Christmas, then a copy of this book would be a fabulous accompaniment!
