Tell us a little about yourself.

I always enjoyed writing as a young girl and reading my boys books.  I always wanted to be an author and my dream came true in March this year when my first book launched.

Where did the inspiration for The Adventures of Bumble the Bus come from?

My beautiful 1962 split screen bus and my gorgeous dog

What do you like the most about writing for children?

Seeing their little faces when they receive and read my book… Priceless!!!

Can you give us a brief excerpt?

My books are about a bygone age, have a little read, I hope you enjoy x

Which is more important to you – plot or characters, and why?

Characters as you will grow to love my characters in my books

What is the best thing about being a writer?

Giving joy to others through my books
