I heard, which was one of the reasons I wanted to visit, apart from the religious and historical aspects…

I’m not sure we have any legit castles here in the United States – every time I see pictures of them from other parts of the world, I want to visit and explore. Sounds like some fun research!

I do love a good castle! Part of my book is set in Germany and I would love to explore that area – they have some fabulous castles.

When I was 7, my family took a trip to Europe – we rented a car and drove along the Rhine to see the castles. Sadly, I was a little too young to appreciate or remember that part of the trip. But maybe that’s why I’m so interested in them now!
