What genre do you enjoy reading?

I enjoy reading just about anything – mainly fiction, YA, fantasy, apocalyptic drama, time travel, historical fiction, crime thrillers (especially Scandinavian Noir lately) – if it can grab me in the first few pages then I’ll stick with it. One book I just couldn’t get into was the Life of Pi, although I did enjoy the movie years later. I rarely give up on a book but it does happen sometimes.

What genre do you enjoy reading?

What genres do I not enjoy reading would be a shorter list, as it would be limited to horror and biographies, and I have enjoyed books in both those genres so… yes, I’m quite happy to pick up anything that doesn’t have me sobbing throughout.

What genre do you enjoy reading?

It really depends on my mood and apparently I’m very moody. Can I just give my current top favorite genres? Fantasy, romantic suspense and historical (non-fiction or fiction).

What genre do you enjoy reading?

I’m a very eclectic reader. I’m drawn mostly to women’s fiction, chick lit and romance, but also enjoy the odd horror, reading middle grade fiction aloud to my kids, writing craft books, suspense and anything else if the cover grabs my eye.

What genre do you enjoy reading?

I love to read women’s fiction and crime.  I like to mix them up so that after a couple of crime, I read something lighter and something that might make me smile.  My guilty pleasure is also reading self-development and mind body and spirit books too!   Which is kind of how I met you if I remember rightly Shelley. It was indeed 🙂

From blog to bestseller #wwwblogs

It only seems like a few weeks ago that I did my closing down ceremony on an old year and embraced the new, and yet here we are in June! I vowed back in January to create an uplifting year with plenty of opportunities and a perfect balance between health, life, and writing.

So far I haven’t listened to a word I said, and I’ve thrown myself into 2016 like the Tasmanian devil!

Over on my motivational blog I wrote a post about starting a happiness jar – I’m pleased to say that I’m still doing this, and my little jar is filling up steadily with all the wonderful things that I’ve done and achieved so far this year.

One of the main highlights of my year has to be my author interview in the Writers’ Forum Magazine (June Issue). Continue reading “From blog to bestseller #wwwblogs”
