I created the Friday Book Share Game to help search for that ideal novel/author. The first post was published in May 2016 and featured Bitch Witch by S.R. Karfelt. Since then I’ve shared various titles from horror, to young adult fantasy.
The game was open for anyone to have a go and I was overjoyed that so many fabulous bloggers took part and shared their favourite Friday Book Shares. You can find them HERE.
The idea was to answer the following questions based on a book you enjoyed reading and use the hashtag #FridayBookShare.
First line of the book.
Recruit fans by adding the book blurb.
Introduce the main character using only three words.
Delightful design (add the cover image of the book).
Audience appeal (who would enjoy reading this book?)
Your favourite line/scene.
I thoroughly enjoyed sharing some of my favourite books, and also reading what other bloggers loved to read. My TBR list has grown even bigger now!
However, all good things must come to an end and with all the blogging, writing, and life commitments I have on I’ve decided not to post any further Friday Book Share Game posts. The hashtag #FridayBookShare is quite popular and gets used by a number of authors to promote their books so I’ll still be keeping an eye on it, and if anyone wishes to continue posting their own FBS posts then I’ll happily support you with likes, RTs and comments.
I was delighted to receive a message from FBS participant, Miguel Olmedo Morell who has started a Flipboard to capture all the Friday Book Share posts – you can continue to find, share, and engage with his feature HERE.

Shelley, I’m sorry to hear you’re bringing you’ll be stopping Friday Book Share, but I fully understand the constraints of time and other commitments. It was such fun to participate in, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to visit other blogs and discover new authors through it. Thanks for starting FBS.
